Engaging domain experts to identify potential black swan scenarios, even those not previously encountered. This involves incorporating such knowledge into the environment simulation, exposing the AI agent to these scenarios during training.

ANOMALY DETECTION

Implementing the training of a distinct model (or system) for detecting anomalies. In the event of the anomaly detection system identifying unusual market states, potentially signaling a trend change, it can prompt the RL agent to transition to a more conservative strategy.

HUMAN-IN-THE-LOOP (HITL):

Especially vital in high-stakes domains like financial markets, establishing a mechanism where atypical decisions by the AI agent, potentially indicating uncharted territory, are flagged for human review before any actions are taken can be invaluable.
